Join our Italian Language courses, from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2),

following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

<p class="font_8">Learn to understand and use <strong>basic everyday expressions and phrases to meet simple needs.&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">In this course, you will discover how to <strong>introduce yourself</strong>, <strong>ask and answer questions about personal details </strong>like where you live and who you know.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">You will also practice simple interactions, as long as the other person speaks slowly and clearly.</p>

BASIC USER - A1

This course aligns with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and corresponds to the A1 level, the foundational level of the European framework, which is also considered the Breakthrough or Discovery Level.

<p class="font_8">Learn to <strong>understand sentences and frequently used expressions </strong>related to areas of <strong>most immediate relevance </strong>(e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">In this course, you will learn <strong>to communicate simple and routine tasks </strong>requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">You will also be able to describe in simple terms aspects of their <strong>background, immediate environment </strong>and <strong>matters in areas of immediate need.</strong></p>

BASIC USER - A2

This course aligns with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and corresponds to the A2 level, which is also considered the Waystage Level.

<p class="font_8">Learn to understand the <strong>main points of clear standard input on familiar matters </strong>regularly encountered <strong>in work, school, leisure, etc.&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">In this course, you will learn how to deal with<strong> most situations likely to arise whilst travelling </strong>in an area where the language is spoken.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8">You will be able produce <strong>simple connected texts</strong> on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">You will also learn how to <strong>describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions </strong>and briefly<strong> give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.</strong></p>

INDEPENDENT USER - B1

This course aligns with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and corresponds to the B1 level, which is also considered the Threshold Level.

<p class="font_8">Learn to understand the<strong> main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics,</strong> including<strong> technical discussions in your field of specialization.&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">In this course, you will interact with a <strong>degree of fluency and spontaneity </strong>that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">You will also be able to <strong>produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects </strong>and <strong>explain a viewpoint on a topical issue</strong> giving the <strong>advantages</strong> and <strong>disadvantages</strong> of various options.</p>

INDEPENDENT USER - B2

This course aligns with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and corresponds to the B2 level, which is also considered the Vantage Level.

<p class="font_8">Learn to understand a wide range of <strong>demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning.</strong> In this course, you will be able to<strong> express yourself fluently and spontaneously </strong>without much obvious searching for expressions.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">You will learn how to<strong> use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes</strong>.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">You will also be able to produce <strong>clear, well-structured, detailed texts on complex subjects,</strong> showing controlled<strong> use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.</strong></p>

PROFICIENT USER - C1

This course aligns with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and corresponds to the C1 level, which is also considered the Effectiveness Level.

<p class="font_8">Learn to<strong> understand with ease virtually everything heard or read.</strong>&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">In this course, you will be able <strong>to summarize information from different spoken and written sources</strong>, reconstructing topics and accounts in a coherent presentation.&nbsp;</p>
<p class="font_8"><br></p>
<p class="font_8">You will learn how to <strong>express yourself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely</strong>, differentiating<strong> finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.</strong></p>

PROFICIENT USER - C2

This course aligns with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and corresponds to the C2 level, which is also considered the Mastery Level.

NEW STUDENTS:
Full price: $450 
per 20 hours

RE-ENROLLING & FULL-TIME STUDENTS, AND SENIOR CITIZENS:
Discounted price (10% discount) : $405 
per 20 hours

Courses will start only if a sufficient number of enrolments is reached (minimum 6 students – maximum number: 16 students per course). In exceptional circumstances courses may also run with a lower number of students, in which case the number of tuition hours will be reduced (i.e. 5 students: 18 h, 4 students: 16 h).

Reimbursements Policy:  A full refund will be given if a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrolments. Once the course has begun, fees cannot be refunded or transferred. The Institute cannot be held responsible for any changes in personal circumstances.

At the end of the courses, students are not going to sit for exams. However, the Institute issues certificates of attendance to students who request them. To request one, please contact the student office:
